Performances which were out of the ordinary will be featured on the 6th season of SA’s Got Talent. 3 year old DJ Arch Jnr, who can barely speak, pulls of an amazing DJ set for the judges and audience… an act that truly epitomises the phrase ‘Any act. Any age’. Some contestants had to be taken outside the theatre to perform their acts for the judges and audience as they were too hazardous to take place inside. Johannesburg based strong woman, Ashley, attempts to pull an entire car with nothing but her own strength. The Fire Goddess pulled off an amazing extravaganza of danger and grace with her fire dancing skills. These aresome of the highlights you may see on the lamp poles after the airings.
SA’s Got Talent judges Shado Twala, DJ Fresh and Lalla Hirayama have an exceptionally tough job of deciding who makes it to the next round. The variety of talent on the show this season is widespread. Everything and everyone from singers to gymnasts, comedians, speed painters, and even speed eaters, were seen by the judges and the audience across all the auditions.
Contestants from every corner of the country made their way to the theatre auditions to stand a chance of getting that all important ‘yes’ they need to advance to the next round. A new feature of SA’s Got Talent this season is the addition of the ‘Golden Buzzer’. Throughout the audition process, each judge, has one chance to give one contestant or group an automatic advancement to the live semi-finals. This act skips the culling phase of the competition and secures a spot in the semi-finals. The decision to use the ‘Golden Buzzer’ rests solely on the judges, so tune in to to see if anyone impresses them enough to get an automatic advancement.
