Legendary comedian, Tracy Morgan, has announced his 2020 No Disrespect world tour which includes three back-to-back shows around South Africa – Cape Town on the 29^th May; Durban on the 30^th May and Pretoria on the 31^st May.

Tracy Morgan is best known for his appearances on Saturday Night Live and his role as Tracy Morgan in seven seasons of NBC’s Emmy- and Golden Globe award-winning, 30 Rock, opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.  His film credits include Paramount’s rom-com film, What Men Want with Taraji P. Henson and The Longest Yard opposite Adam Sandler and he has also lent his voice to hit animations Rio, Rio 2 and the Oscar-nominated, Boxtrolls.   Across his career, he has had stand-up specials on Netflix, HBO and Comedy Central and has headlined comedy tours and festivals around the world.

Morgan can currently be seen in the second season of TBS’ The Last OG, which has recently been renewed for a third season.  He can next be heard voicing the role of Fox in Netflix’s Green Eggs & Ham, as well as Caption Caveman in the upcoming 2020 feature, Scoob.

Since the release of his first record with Roxy Music in 1972, Bryan Ferry has been internationally acclaimed as one of the most innovative and stylish musicians, songwriters and singers to emerge in pop and rock music.  Now he is coming to South Africa as part of his Global Tour in 2019.

Widely regarded as the embodiment of the glamorous and romantic worlds evoked by his songs, Ferry is also lauded as an icon of sartorial and personal cool. A former student of Fine Art, and as involved in the visual aspects of his work as he is in the composition and performance of the music, Bryan Ferry has conceived and directed some of the most original, controversial and critically applauded album sleeve artwork of the last four decades.

Ferry came to prominence as the lead vocalist and principal songwriter with the glam art rock band Roxy Music achieving three no. 1 albums and 10 singles which reached the top10 in the UK between 1972 and 1982. Big Concerts confirmed that Judas Priest will be coming to South Africa for the very first time performing in Cape Town on 20^th March 2019 at Grand Arena, GrandWest and 22^nd March 2019 in Johannesburg at the Ticketpro Dome, presented by Jacaranda FM, Bok Radio and Channel 24 – Another Big Concerts Experience.

There are few heavy metal bands that have managed to scale the heights that Judas Priest have during their 40-year career. Big Concerts confirmed that Daughtry will be returning to South Africa performing in Cape Town on 25^th October 2018 at Grand Arena, GrandWest and 27^th October 2018 in Pretoria at the Sun Arena at Time Square in support of their brand new album Cage to Rattle. Daughtry will be supported by very special guest Jesse Clegg, in this Big Concert Experience, presented by Bok Radio, Jacaranda FM and Channel 24. Another Big Concerts Experience.

As the frontman for the band bearing his name, Daughtry has become one of the most visible and consistent rock & roll torchbearers of the 21^st Century. Since rising to prominence on the fifth season of American Idol, he has released four albums, all of which reached the Billboard Top Ten and have combined sales over 8 million copies in the U.S.

Daughtry’s self-titled debut was the best-selling album of 2007, which contained four Top Twenty hit singles including the Grammy-nominated smash “It’s Not Over.” Leave This Town also reached Number One in 2009, while 2011’s Break the Spell was certified gold. His group’s most recent record, 2013’s Baptized, featured the platinum-selling “Waiting for Superman,” which the singer points to as a turning point in his song writing.

Daughtry and his band have been performing together for over a decade. As the band continues work on its fifth album (which Daughtry describes in its early stages as having a “bluesy, almost rootsy undertone to it”), they look to contemporaries like Maroon 5 and Train as examples of acts able to maintain their relevance while rock & roll faces an uphill struggle in the mass media. “Those guys are inspirational, showing that you can come back and have a strong presence, even if what you’re known for doing is having a hard time,” he says.

Ten years after launching with a massive splash, Chris Daughtry claims that he and the band have grown the most on stage, and that it’s altered his whole sense of his work. “When we first came out, I’d only known what I’d seen,” he says. “I didn’t know how to be vulnerable, with no pretence. Now it’s walk onstage and, especially in our acoustic shows, just be flat-out honest and open. It’s really helped me realize that’s actually what fans want—they want 100 percent honesty and feeling like they got to know you better.”

Daughtry will be supported by special guest Jesse Clegg. Jesse has been nominated for four South African Music Awards, has released six Top 10 singles as well as 3 albums ‘When I Wake Up’, ‘Life on Mars’ and ‘Things Unseen’.
