The market has been intentionally curated to showcase the province’s skilled artisans, food crafters and lifestyle creators. Each product reflects attention to detail and a strong connection to place, with stallholders bringing their own stories and specialities to the experience.

Local flavour in every corner

The Artisanal Market has been designed to support sustainable shopping and strengthen the presence of local businesses within the Midlands Mall community. Shoppers can look forward to handcrafted offerings ranging from fresh florals to organic fruits, biltong, nut butters, small-batch sauces and preserves, cured meats and cheeses, pastries, artisanal chocolate and more, all thoughtfully made.

Lifestyle items such as hand-poured candles, wooden wares and leather accessories will also be available, alongside artisanal home décor items and greenery to brighten up indoor spaces.

Stalls will embody a rustic charm, with natural wood finishes and thoughtful details that reflect the care behind each product. The layout is designed to echo the feel of a countryside market while still sitting comfortably within the polished setting of the mall.

Supporting small businesses in a meaningful way

“We’re proud to give local entrepreneurs a platform to offer their crafts with a wider audience,” says Lawrence Joubert, General Manager of Liberty Midlands Mall. “The Artisanal Market brings something a little different to the retail mix – small-batch goods made with care, and new expressions of creativity that are often hard to come by. It’s a celebration of regional talent and thoughtful shopping and we believe it will resonate with shoppers who value distinctive items made with love.”
