<p><a href="http://www.stageandscreen.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Macbeth-2.png"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignright size-large wp-image-8307" src="http://www.stageandscreen.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Macbeth-2-300x348.png" alt="" width="300" height="348" /></a>After the sensational success of <em>Hamlet</em> in 2017, Pieter Toerien proudly presents Abrahamse &amp; Meyer&#8217;s dazzling take on <em>Macbeth, </em>William Shakespeare&#8217;s shortest, darkest and most thrilling tragedy.</p>
<p>This production comes to Johannesburg hot on the heels of its European debut at the world&#8217;s largest and most prestigious International Shakespeare Festival.</p>
<p><em>Macbeth</em> is currently being studied by Grade 12 English Additional Language as well as Grade 11 English Home Language learners.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t miss the opportunity to see this innovative re-imagining of one of the greatest plays ever written. The Direction, set and Lighting Design for this production of <em>Macbeth,</em> is done by Fred Abrahamse, with Marcel Meyer in charge of designing the costumes.</p>
<p>Special features includes Illusions by Matthew Baldwin and Puppet Design and Creation by Abrahamse and Meyer. The Cast consist out of Marcel Meyer, Stephen Jubber, Matthew Baldwin, Jeremy Richard, Tailyn Ramsamy and Tristan de Beer.</p>
