What do you do when Love Runs Out?

In an evening of two one-act-plays (staged for the first time in South Africa), we explore this question from two very different perspectives.

In Hit & Match, we meet Cooper Williams, a hitman on a hunt for a different target – love. Coupled with a host of interesting women and a chauvinistic mentor who believes that love only exists below the belt, we soon realise that love is more complex than it seems.

Hit & Match, written by Michael Hagins, will star Lee Speechly, Miskar Chomse, Salman Jacobs, Kelly George Darren Meltz and Lisa Nightshade.

In Unveiling, we are presented with a fragmented display of love where Michael and Vera – a seemingly perfect couple’s happy façade slowly morphs into a desperate display of how love has truly run out.

Unveiling is Written by Vaclav Havel, and starring Lisa Nightshade, Darren Meltz and Lee Speechly, Both acts of Love runs out is directed by Johan van Rooyen
