When it comes to insult comics, Bianca is in a class of her own. Fierce, funny, and fabulous—a would-be love child sired by John Waters and birthed by Joan Rivers—Bianca sandblasted her name in the annals of pop culture on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Thanks to her snarky frankness, impeccable comedic timing, and politically incorrect humour, she became the show’s breakout star, winning its sixth season.

In Blame It On Bianca Del Rio, Bianca shares her opinions loudly and proudly, offering raucous, hilarious, no-holds-barred commentary on the everyday annoyances, big and small, that colour her world, and make it a living, albeit amusing, hell for anyone who inhabits it. Bianca Del Rio won season six of Logo TV’s hit series RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2014. That same year she received the Best New Television Personality award from NewNowNext. Global accolades along with a Live Nation comedy tour brought the beloved New Orleans entertainer once known as Roy Haylock into the scrutinizing public eye. Gigs throughout the world, a commercial debut for Starbucks, critical acclaim by The New York Times, even an interview on the late Joan Rivers’ popular show In Bed with Joan, followed. Years of dedication and hard work paid off for this controversial comedian and drag queen. A self-proclaimed Clown in a Dress with a raw and racy edge, Bianca Del Rio is a costume designer and theatrical performer, as well as the familiar wisecracking artist that emerged on the New Orleans nightclub circuit in 1996 and garnered awards. After having performed in the iconic Hammersmith Apollo in front of thousands of fans in Johnny Clegg’s Final Journey Tour, TAILOR returns to South Africa for an exclusive two weeks in her #1000MILESTOUR.

She will captivate fans with her enigmatic performance and music from her three acclaimed albums: The Dark Horse, Light and Trust Part 1 as well as new music she created with world-renowned musicians and producers alike.

British fans have since celebrated Tailor’s outlandish stage performance in the infamous Bedford in Balham that made Ed Sheeran famous, the celebrated Halfmoon in Putney where The Who, U2, and Rolling Stones played and The Troubadour where Bob Dylan performed in his first show in London.

Cult followers of alternative rock music will be able to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience with famed lead singer Myles Kennedy, of the multi-million selling rock band Alter Bridge, who will be performing in South Africa for two exclusive shows, staged in the Mother City, and the Capital.

An Evening with Myles Kennedy promises to be stripped back, intimate and disarming, and the first time that Kennedy will be performing acoustic versions of songs reflecting the entire repertoire of the magnificent career he has enjoyed to date. With massive success stretching over two decades, Kennedy will be sharing the stories behind the rock anthems that raised him to fame and his musical journey that ensured that he will forever leave his distinctive mark on music royalty history.

An Evening with Myles Kennedy is proudly presented by AMP Events and will take place at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on 6 March and at the Sun Arena, Time Square, Menlyn in Pretoria on 10 March 2018.
