1925Band rock the golden oldies!
The popular brother-trio, 1925Band will release their long-awaited album, Eintlik Nogal Baie, in September 2017.
The song, Eintlik Nogal Baie, was also the theme song for the popular local South African film with the same title – which was released in August 2016 and reached the number one position on several charts across the country. The film was distributed internationally and the 1925Band recently composed the theme song into Spanish.
Music runs in the family for the 1925Band. The band consists of three brothers, Reno, Jeff and David-Lee Gericke who decided to pursue music professionally in 2010. Their style can be described as acoustic folk and the way that they harmoniously tune to each other as well as the feeling in each song, is what makes their music so enjoyable to listen to.
On Friday 25 August, the 1925Band has a special Golden Oldies show at the Rockwell Theatre in Cape Town.
Come and relive the greatest era of music that ever was. Invite your kids (or grandkids) too. You’ll dance holes in your soles. Be there or be square! Golden Oldies Rock is hot wax and a must see for everyone.
