The Annual Green Craft Beer Festival and Aces Brew Work Beer Pong Event

The Green. Live and the Green Craft Bar Modderfontein present the Annual Green Craft Beer Fest which takes place at the beautiful Gillooly’s Farm on Saturday, 4 March 2017.

In its second year running, this event boasts more than ten local craft breweries, delicious food and the best local entertainment.

To top the success of last year’s event, the organisers will be attempting to break the previous year’s record of 5 530 cups played at a beer pong game in one day.

The ‘Aces Brew Worx’ Beer Pong will aim to break the 6 000 cup mark!

This can only be done with your help and so with entrance all patrons get their first game on the house (600ml of beer).

Dax Menday, the co founder of The Green Live explains, “the Craft Beer culture in South Africa is growing, so why not pair craft beer and the biggest beer drinking game in the world to try and set a record to cement our beer drinking legacy?”

Craft Beer Breweries at the event will consist of Darling Brew, Mad Giant, Devil’s Peak Brewing Company, Brannas Draught and many more.

To add to the proudly South African vibe, there were be a stellar line up of incredible talent playing at this event. This include Trevor Rebello, Justin Serrao, The Urban Village, Bad Peter and Rubber Duc.

There will also be delicious food for sale from various food vendors, like On the Go Food Truck, Mi Casa, Sushi Bus, The Brohemian, Tutto Food Co, Sumting Fresh and Pink Waffle Cabin.

Children under 12 are welcome free of charge accompanied by an adult but no 13 – 17 year olds.
