Direct from London – enjoy the sweet sounds of Franki Valli & The Four Seasons this Valentine’s month
Joburg Theatre: 10 – 28 February
Direct from London, BYE BYE BABY, having taken the UK by storm in 2015, is to perform on the Mandela stage, Joburg Theatre from February 10th to 28th. The show is a fresh take on the story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.
Musical Director Marc Ryzer says; “We are excited about visiting South Africa and bringing the show to the people of Johannesburg. The dates we have played in the UK since the show launched last year have been unbelievable – we have been playing to packed houses and the response has been incredible.”
BYE BYE BABY takes audiences through the journey of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons with all its highs and lows; right from how the group formed – to how they were admitted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The show features classics such as; Bye Bye Baby, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Silence is Golden, The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, and many more.
BYE BYE BABY features a four-piece live band. Marc Ryzer, Musical Director, adds:
“Our singers are of an incredible vocal range and quality. Our lead singer Jamie Ledwith sings in the same vocal range as Frankie Valli (falsetto) – and if you close your eyes, it really could be him.”
