Nik Rabinowitz is back at Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre.
After the successful recent run of his one-man show in Cape Town, and turning 40, comedian Nik Rabinowitz decided that the best location for his midlife crisis would be Fourways. Please don’t tell him that 40 is the new 30, it’ll only confuse him further.
How do you balance family, aging, government anxiety and Trump fears? You don’t. At least Nik doesn’t. In Fortyifed, Nik explores a variety of subjects, some related to his bout with middle age, some not. Some related to his many (3) children, some not. Either way, he’s not going to commit to anything specific now because then you’ll come with very specific expectations of the show, leaving him no room to change his mind at the last minute, which is he wont to do.
Honestly though, does it really matter what it’s about? It’s a comedy show. There will be stories, there will be awkwardness, there will be accents. And – it will all be funny which is all you really have to know.
Come give Nik your money and listen to his troubles. It’s like reverse therapy! But more fun.
“If forty is the new thirty, there is no finer confirmation than the exuberance and boundless energy of Rabinowitz” – Weekend Special.
