Newly Revamped Cinema Nouveau Rosebank Reopens

Those who know cinema, know Nouveau!

Rosebank Nouveau, Cinema Nouveau’s flagship is open once more following an extensive revamp. The unique Cinema Nouveau offering now features a newly designed foyer and dining area, along with new food and drinks offerings which includes wine, coffee and cocktails – all the better to cater for its dedicated audience: those who know cinema and know Nouveau.

As one of the world’s only dedicated ‘art cinema’ chains, Cinema Nouveau’s line-up is tailored to audiences who love art-house, independent and foreign language films, as well as film festivals, screenings of live theatre and opera productions, and alternative film content.

“Cinema Nouveau is a destination for film-lovers with an appreciation for the artistry of film, and who relish thought-provoking content,” says Motheo Motsau, Ster-Kinekor’s Chief of Marketing and Sales. “We hope that our renovations further establish Rosebank Cinema Nouveau as a venue where audience can enjoy watching arthouse films, and the overall bespoke Cinema Nouveau experience”

Head to the newly revamped cinema for these and many other forthcoming films: Blinded by the Light (now showing), a life-affirming comedy inspired by the work of Bruce Springsteen; crime-drama The Kitchen (now showing); Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (30 August) and Fisherman’s Friends (13 September), based on the true story of Cornish fishermen whose album of sea shanties scored an unexpected top ten hit.

Impressed with the Rosebank renovations. When will the ‘live’ version of 42nd Street be screened?
