Joburg’s biggest Halloween celebration returns to Montecasino for the entire Family.

Festival De Mexico was born out of love for Mexican food, live music and of course, tequila. Six festivals and over 24 000 attendees later, the seventh festival has welcomed its new home for Johannesburgs biggest Halloween Celebration yet again on Saturday 26th October 2019, where the celebrations are provided for the entire family.

Montecasino’s Outdoor Event Arena will be blanketed in colourful décor to transform into the ultimate fiesta setting for Festival De Mexico with The HALLOWEEN festivities to wow event the craziest of minds. Get ready for the biggest halloween celebration of Mexican flavor with best dressed competitions where winners will win amazing M&M’s and Skittles prizes, Food from over 20 of Joburgs best mexican street food vendors, vast variety of tequilas, Mexican cocktails, an M&M’s piñata showdowns, a chilli eating competition, bull riding, entertainment in bucket loads and lets not forget the kiddies area where you can drop your little ones off. A massive lineup that includes South Africas best bands and DJ’s includes Matthew Mole, Goodluck, Rubber Duc, DJ Zinhle, Kyle Cassim, Ryan The DJ & 4AM Band.

Event organiser, Danny Figueiredo (Director of Connect Entertainment) comments, “Festival De Mexico’s Halloween Festival is a day filled with great food, amazing music and entertainment the entire day for the whole family. Expect to leave satisfied, entertained and a little typsy, so definitely Uber.”

Montecasino is the perfect setting for the increased demand of a bigger crowd looking to join the Halloween celebrations and the Outdoor Event Arena allows for a 8000-strong crowd to comfortably enjoy the day.

Festival De Mexico’s Halloween festival plays host to Africa’s largest Trick Or Treat – a celebration uniquely suited to the event. “The biggest Trick Or Treat we have had peaked just over 5000 in October of 2018. This October we try break that number!” Danny Figueiredo (Director of Connect Entertainment) says.
