Johannesburg, 28 April 2026: Bedford shopping centre in Johannesburg will welcome back its popular Sunset Market on Friday, 8 May from 4 pm to 10 pm. Presented in collaboration with The Urban Markets, the next edition will reflect the shift of season, bringing together food, design and small-scale makers in an Autumn setting as day turns to night.
A Curated Mix of Food and Local Finds
With more than 100 stalls, the market will feature artisanal traders offering a delectable range of food and handcrafted treasures. Visitors will be able to move between street-style bites, sweet treats and considered pieces that are filled with local creativity. The experience will centre on discovery, with each stall offering something distinct and many of the products not available in commercial stores.

Hosted in the upper car park, the Sunset Market will once again reshape the space into an evening destination. As the light fades, the atmosphere will shift, marked by the glow of market lighting and a steady flow of visitors.
